Abatement of hazardous materials and complete tear down demolition of twin 5 story 80,000 SF apartment buildings, each building consisting of 137 units.

Asbestos Abatement:

  • Project Design
  • Provide permits and notifications for abatement work
  • Set up containment to state & EPA regulation
  • Abate ACM as identified
    • 613 friable pipe elbows
    • 1,000 sq ft of duct sealant
    • 73,200 sq ft of non-friable vinyl flooring & mastic
    • Door caulk from rooftop doors

Demolition:

  • Mobilize manpower & equipment
  • Provide daily reports & equipment logs
  • Provide hydrant tap and permit for dust control
  • Demolish existing apartment buildings, including slabs, footers, and foundation
  • Separate and recycle debris to fullest extent possible (by weight 77% of waste stream diverted from landfills)
  • Transport all debris generated to approved disposal/recycling facilities
  • Provide certified traffic control for trucks and equipment on and off site
  • Maintain clean site and street
  • Rough grade for positive runoff
